Chicago Bears + WhirlyBall = UNBEATABLE!

Last night we were once again very pleased to have Chicago Bears players Greg Olsen, Jay Cutler and Craig Steltz & friends, at WhirlyBall in Vernon Hills. In fact, Greg Olsen speaks very highly of WhirlyBall on his blog at golsen82.com posted June 11th, stating WhirlyBall is, “…something we like to do to blow off steam. WhirlyBall in Vernon Hills. It’s about the most fun you can have.”

Now we, at WhirlyBall, are huge Bears fans. So we couldn’t be more excited to have them as WhirlyBall fans. In fact, we can only hope WhirlyBall might just be the key to a Championship Football Season for Chicago!

Well,the cat’s out of the bag… it’s been in Sneed’s column and all over the web (okay, NFLJuice.com had some fun with it). It’s true. Bears players Jay Cutler and Greg Olsen and company enjoyed some friendly competition on the court at WhirlyBall in Vernon Hills on Saturday night.

Hey…WhirlyBall is all about team-building, right?! Many of our hard-working Chicago football players have joined us for some fun over the years. In fact, we’d love to see them more often! And if playing WhirlyBall regularly can make Death Cab For Cutie a better band (according to their MTV promos), I’m confident it will do wonders for our Chicago Bears!

Again? You bet!

This time, the cameras will be rolling for a segment of Megalopolis with Alexandra Leroux. Megalopolis is a French travel documentary series, and Megalopolis Chicago will be aired several times beginning in the Fall on premium pay television channel Canal + (over 10 million subscribers) in France, Monaco, Belgium, Luxembourg, Switzerland (with Canada and Italy to be confirmed.) The program will also air on regular cable channel Planète as many as 8 times within a year.

We are flattered to be chosen for this exciting opportunity and look forward to sharing the final product with our online WhirlyBall enthusiasts.

And so, the Whirld of WhirlyBall continues to reach far beyond the borders of America and touch the lives of those in distant lands. Soon, couples in Monaco will be planning their romantic getaways to our great city…with a stop at WhirlyBall! (Ya think?)
